Every single contribution they make is a genuine expression of care, from community empowerment programs to environmental actions to supporting vulnerable groups. Their dedication reflects HSBC Indonesia's contribution, as it not only serves but also contributes to solutions to social and environmental challenges.

In early February 2025, a group of 25 HSBC volunteers took part in the tree maintenance activities during the Newtrees program visit to Paseban area at Puncak, Bogor. This activity was intended to monitor the development of trees planted by HSBC Indonesia. This is in collaboration with WWF Indonesia in 2022 with a total of 2,000 trees. Our volunteers were accompanied by local farmer groups performing random checks on a number of trees to ensure that they are free from wild plants, being given enough fertilizer, while measuring its impact on soil and water quality in the surrounding environment. This effort is critical to ensure that the program objective of restoring degraded land within the area is achieved.
