We’ve done everything to empower changemakers, knowing they are the ones that will shape Indonesia’s future. We nurture inclusive collaborations with local communities, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and government offices to make positive and sustainable change.
At HSBC Indonesia, we will continue to support the younger generation in becoming agents of change. Climate Skills: turning youth potential into climate action
Climate action doesn’t start with megaprojects—it often starts with a young person who’s been given the skills and the chance to lead. That’s the idea behind Climate Skills – Seeds for Transition, a collaboration between HSBC Indonesia and the British Council that equips marginalised youth with core workplace skills and practical green know-how, then supports them to turn learning into real community solutions.
HSBC Volunteers make an impact for MSMEs and Youth
As part of HSBC's continued commitment to social investment in Indonesia, colleagues stepped up this August to support KITA Berdaya, a program run in partnership with YCAB Foundation to strengthen women-owned micro and small businesses and expand access to education for their children. Over three days, seven HSBC volunteers worked alongside 131 participants — 98 women MSME owners and 33 local youth.
