The Symphony of Nusantara

HSBC Indonesia celebrated its 140 years anniversary of HSBC in Indonesia together with customers and partners in a gala dinner 'The Symphony of Nusantara’ on October 15.

The event featured keynote addresses from the Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs of Republic of Indonesia, Airlangga Hartarto, who shared insights on economic stability and projections for Indonesia's growth in the coming years, and HSBC Group Chairman, Sir Mark Tucker, who joined the celebration to personally thank the customers and partners for longstanding trust and confidence to HSBC in Indonesia. Indonesia and reaffirmed HSBC’s commitment to sustainable economic development in Indonesia.

Around 200 of the bank’s customers and partners attended the event, including His Majesty UK Ambassador to Indonesia Dominic Jermey; UK Ambassador to ASEAN Sarah Tiffin; Ambassador of Ireland to Indonesia; Padraig Francis Japan Ambassador to Indonesia Mr. Yasushi Masaki, Mission of Japan to ASEAN Mr. Masahiko Kiya, Deputy Secretary General at ASEAN Secretariat Satvinder Singh, and Chairman of Indonesia Employers Association, Mrs. Shinta Kamdani.

The Gala Dinner also featured prominent Indonesian artists Ruth Sahanaya, Lea Simanjuntak, and Andmesh, who captivated the audience with their outstanding vocal performances. Their acts were beautifully complemented by the GUT Orchestra, creating an extraordinary musical experience that transformed the event into an unforgettable celebration.
